Description
The Pennine Way, Tow Top Bridleway and the Dale End, Lothersdale, Craven, North Yorkshire, England. The Dale End includes the Mill which reputedly has the largest indoor waterwheel in the world and also the Hare and Hounds Public House. No house in the village is connected to mains gas or water and it has very limited connection. This has had the effect of limiting the amount of development that has taken place and gives the village an unspoilt atmosphere. Water supplied to the village is via borehole or from various springs.
